19 July 2012, Company relay race

GPA attended on the 4th company relay race in Magdeburg. On the one hand GPA offers her parent company FAM high performance in automation and on the other hand GPA will set itself challenges in some other kinds like sports. This was GPA’s first attendance on this event and all in all we have been successful. The men team was called “FAM Kabelblitze” and was placed on 112. of 265 men teams. The beginning has been made.

 

Highlight in 2012, Bagged cargo shiploaders for Vietnam

On the hand GPA delivers the complete electrical equipment for the FAM project of four barge shiploaders for bagged cargo in the fertilizer company of Ca Mau in Vietnam and on the other hand GPA undertakes the commissioning for this project successfully.

The delivered shiploaders complete with spiral chute and designed for continuous loading of ships up to 500 DWT and a capacity of 1200 bags/hour.
 

Highlight in 2012, Portal scraper for Belarus

On the hand GPA delivers the complete electrical equipment for the FAM project sand storage at the Gomelglass in Belarus and on the other hand GPA undertakes the commissioning for this project successfully.

Core of the system is a portal scraper type KP 550.45 - the FAM logo highlighting the name of the company responsible for design & engineering, manufacturing and commissioning of the handling plant. GPA as the full subsidiary of FAM had a decisive part of the success.
 

Highlight in 2011, Circular stockyard for South Korea

On the hand GPA delivers the complete electrical equipment for the FAM project of five circular stockyards for iron ore with a diameter of up to 124 m and two longitudinal stockyards with 12 semi-portal scrapers for aggregates in the Hyundai Steel’s steelworks in Dangjin in South Korea and on the other hand GPA undertakes the commissioning for this project successfully.

 

Highlight in 2011, Circular stockyard and shiploader for VAE

On the hand GPA delivers the complete electrical equipment for the FAM project of a circular stockyard and a quadrant radial-type shiploader to TAKREER in Abu Dhabi, a firm affiliated to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). On the other hand GPA undertakes the commissioning for this project successfully.

The  132 m dia. circular stockyard with a storage capacity of 140,000 t is intended for sulphur handling. The scope of delivery comprises not only design & engineering, manufacture and commissioning, but also comprehensive training of the operating and maintenance personnel on site. 
 

Highlight in 2011, Coaling plant for Romania

On the hand GPA delivers the complete electrical equipment for the FAM project of a coaling plant for the power company S.C. Lukoil Energy & Gas, Romania and on the other hand GPA undertakes the commissioning for this project successfully.

The contract comprises project planning, design, engineering, delivery and commissioning of a primary and a secondary crusher for petcoke processing, all within a short period of time. Furthermore, FAM’s scope of supplies comprises the complex handling and stockyard equipment, complete with conveyor bridges from wagon unloading to stacking with the help of a tripper car as well as the reclaiming line with a portal scraper and belt conveyor system to the boiler coal bunkers.
